Everything in life has a beginning. A starting place! In this class, we are going to look at spiritual things. We are going to see that God is real and that He has an exciting plan for each one of us. But first we have to have a starting place. We have to begin somewhere.

In the last class, we talked about the word of God – the Bible – as the starting place for our new beginning in Jesus. The Bible helps us to understand this decision we’ve made in Christ. Now we need to explore who God is and our questions about why this world is such a mess.

In the last two lessons, we have learned about what the Bible, our starting place, has to say about who God is and why the world is such a mess. As we learned, free will have a lot to do with the messiness of the world around us.

Over the last few classes, we have learned a lot about the Bible, God, sin, and even this new relationship we now have in Jesus. As you might have guessed by now, this relationship, like every good relationship, is going to need our full investment to grow. That means that there are some next steps it’s time to take.
