House-to-House: Evangelism & Grocery Giveaway at Vinette Towers
Step into the community with our House-to-House team as we deliver groceries, pray with residents, and share the hope of Jesus at Vinette Towers. This outreach is a meaningful opportunity to build relationships, offer practical support, and encourage families through personal connection and prayer. If you've completed the Core 3 classes through the School of Discipleship and are interested in learning more about House-to-House ministry, this is a great place to start. Current House-to-House team members will be serving alongside new volunteers to provide guidance and support throughout the day. Existing House-to-House team members should register directly with Rev. Liz.
About House-to-House
House-to-House is one of the core outreach ministries of Abundant Life. By partnering with community organizations and neighborhoods throughout the City of Syracuse, this team brings fresh food and groceries directly to local families.
Every House-to-House outreach provides opportunities to serve in a variety of ways, including loading and unloading trucks, setting up and tearing down, welcoming guests, praying with individuals, and distributing food boxes. Above all, House-to-House is focused on sharing the love of Jesus through evangelism, practical care, and meaningful connection.
Important for House-to-House Volunteers
Please plan to attend the Serve Week Kick-Off Rally at Abundant Life. Immediately following the rally, the House-to-House team will gather at the Abundant Life Reach Center to load vehicles with groceries and outreach supplies before heading together to Vinette Towers for the outreach. Arriving at the Kick-Off Rally ensures everyone receives important instructions, project materials, and has time to prepare before serving.
