This festive gathering is a chance to share the dishes that represent your culture, connect with others from around the world, and honor the global heartbeat of our church.

The drive will run through the second to last week of November, and every contribution will help make the holidays brighter for local families.

Parenting the Middle Years provides parents, 7 thru 13 year olds, practical parenting strategies as you and your child prepare for the teen years. This five session parenting series will explore many issues and topics that parents find challenging including:

• Transitioning from Parental Authority to Parental Influence

• The nature of compliance to parental instruction

• The power of communicating life giving words

• Peer Identity versus Family Identity

• Critical conversations – Sex, Drugs, and Hormones

• Cyber parenting in the Digital Age

• Awareness of “The Seven Warning Flags”

Each week we will meet in person to view the video presentation and then have open discussion to address application and specific parenting issues.
