Length: 8 Week Course | When: Mondays at 8:00 PM, September 14 – November 2, 2026 | Where: Online via Zoom

In this course, parents of 18-month to 5-year-olds will discover Biblical wisdom and practical guidance for navigating the joy, energy, and curiosity of the toddler years. Learn how to create a nurturing home, embrace your role as your child’s primary teacher, and enjoy the simple, pure love that toddlers bring.

Student Life Kick-off Sunday is September 13!

Students in 6th–12th grade are invited to wear their favorite team jersey, bring a friend, and come ready for some fun.

ALC Family Fun Day & Back-to-School Giveaway

Serve the families of Abundant Life as we celebrate the start of a new school year! Volunteers will help welcome families, distribute backpacks and school supplies, assist with Family Fun Day activities, and create a fun, encouraging experience for children and parents alike. This is a wonderful opportunity to bless our own church family by helping students head back to school equipped, encouraged, and ready for the year ahead. Whether you're greeting guests, organizing supplies, or lending a hand wherever it's needed, you'll play an important role in making the day memorable for our ALC families.

Mary Nelson Back-to-School Giveaway at Meachem Field

Help students and families start the new school year with confidence and encouragement. Volunteers will serve throughout this community event by helping distribute school supplies, assisting with the Fresh Market, welcoming guests, supporting event logistics, and praying with individuals at the prayer tent. Every conversation, smile, and act of kindness helps create a day where families feel loved, supported, and cared for. Whether you're organizing supplies, serving food, offering prayer, or helping the event run smoothly, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as we share the love of Jesus in practical ways.

Since 2000, the Mary Nelson Youth Center has been making a difference in the lives of children and families throughout the community. Ronald McDonald House: Meal Service

Help provide comfort for families caring for a hospitalized child by preparing a homemade lunch at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York. Volunteers will work together to cook, package, and set out a buffet-style meal for families to enjoy when they return from the hospital, then clean the kitchen before heading out. While this opportunity is primarily behind the scenes, your service helps ease one small burden for families walking through an incredibly difficult season. It's a simple but meaningful way to share the love of Jesus through practical care.

Believers Chapel: Playground Refresh

Help create a safe, welcoming space where children and families can gather, play, and grow. Volunteers will work together to refresh Believers Chapel's playground and surrounding grounds through a variety of outdoor improvement projects. If you enjoy hands-on work and don't mind getting a little dirty, this is a great opportunity to serve a local church in a practical way that will bless their congregation for years to come. Whether you're cleaning, repairing, or improving the space, your efforts will leave a lasting impact for the families who use it every week. Onondaga Nation School: Trail Project

Help prepare the Onondaga Nation School campus for a new school year by serving on this outdoor restoration project. Volunteers will work together to clear brush, replace trail boards, clean up the baseball diamond, and improve the grounds so students, teachers, and staff can enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. If you enjoy working outdoors and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact through practical service. Volunteers ages 14 and older are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that power tools will be in use during portions of the project.

The Onondaga Nation School serves students from Pre-K through eighth grade, providing the educational tools they need as they grow and prepare for the future. Serving children from the Onondaga Nation, one of the nations of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy, the school uniquely integrates traditional Onondaga culture, language, and environmental education into its curriculum.
