WE ARE CALLED TO LOVE ALL OUR NEIGHBORS
We sat down with Ben Charles, a Church member for about five years, to better understand, from his perspective, how can the global Church better embrace diversity.
"We must embrace the commandment fully, love our neighbor, and not decide who our neighbor is. That's what we've done. We've created distinctions on who we think our neighbor is. Our neighbor might be the same person who goes to work with us, looks like us, dresses like us, and gets paid just about the same. But the person who might be at that grocery store that you just ran across was in your way, was rude to you, or maybe cut you off, and now he's not your neighbor. So we cannot decide who our neighbor is."
