Melanie Chapman | Children’s Pastor

After graduating from Syracuse University, Pastor Ken and I moved to Los Angeles where we worked in teen ministry for three years. During this time, I also worked as an Assistant Camp Director and full-time designer. Upon returning to East Syracuse after our son was born, I worked with ALC teenagers under Pastor Lee and Pastor Rich’s leadership from 2011-2017.

In 2018, I had the honor of co-leading and launching the Junior High ministry. After the pandemic, I was hired as the Elementary Coordinator and enjoyed getting to know our kids each week. In 2023, I was licensed as ALC’s Children’s Pastor and love seeing our kids grow in Christ and hearing all about their week.
